So there's a good chance I'm going to die tonight, given how much I've been gunning to whack every accused person, and I'm all accused, and such. Perhaps I can make it a useful death, though.
We still don't know what the powers of the dead are. We've been assuming they pick the seer target, but (correct me if I'm mistaken) we've been given no reason to believe this other than it makes a certain sort of sense. I figure there are three likely things the dead could be doing:
- They could be controlling seer targets,
- They could be guarding people, or
- They could have vigilante powers.
The third one seems unlikely since we haven't seen it in action, but it's always possible that they have an up/down vote on whether to even use it, or something. I propose that the next of us to die relays them a code that they can use to communicate what their powers are to us.
Off the top of my head, if they have seer powers, we tell them to seer a specific person. If they have guardian powers, we have them protect the vigilante's target. If they have vigilante powers, we tell them to kill someone. If it's something else, the lack of any of the above occurrences will let us know.
Beyond that, we could also establish a code system whereby one of us could send messages via the game thread, such as a designated person using someone's name in conjunction with a code word to indicate that person as a target.
If we could do this, it might even be in our best interests to gun for my death, since I think knowing what our dead allies can do and having influence over it is of more use than one more living network member.
