I know you're there, you should join in some chatter with us? Some of us don't hit the D&D chat thread so we never get to talk to you!
Awesome game btw, I've having a lot of fun with the roleplaying.

Haha, seriously. I went from having a lover in the woods to screwing every person within a 10 mile radius (except DA.)

Heh, I'm off to bed at the moment. I've been promising myself all week that I'd get to bed early, and this is the earliest I've managed it yet... and midnight does NOT qualify as early in my book. I'm very much looking forward to Friday, though, when my husband is off nights and can manage the munchkin (who turned two in March) for me and get her to bed while I write up narration. At least I won't have a complete disaster on my hands after I get the thing posted! Monday night she discovered she could reach the refrigerator ice and water dispensers if she stood on her booster seat, and with a heavy enough glass (which she found in the dishwasher) make it work. Last night I got her to bed BEFORE the narration, fortunately. Tonight she combined the water with beef boullion, bananas, and the whole loaf of bread... not counting the brand new box of cereal of which she hasn't managed to get the bag open yet, but not for lack of trying, and the dog biscuits all over the floor (at least now the dog should have nice clean teeth ) Glad you are enjoying it so much. I'm having a blast watching everything, and sending snide PMs to people. Speaking of which, I need to clean out my PM box. I don't know how people managed running a game on the old board system with the smaller PM boxes. I'm going to have SO many questions of the "when did you know..." variety when it's all over, because there are some things I just can't ask or comment on now without interfering with the game. Anyway, g'nite all, glad you're enjoying yourselves.

I think you should try joining a smaller ODaM game and be a network leader. That's always alot of fun on your inbox.
Anyhow, feel free to chat with us, we don't bite too much.

Wel, at least you don't have to kill your kid if you find out she's a changeling. Just stuff her with Ritalin and it'll be aiite.

The closest I came was being a night 2 seer target in Phalliad, and then ended up dead the next night with everyone else. Unfortunately, for some reason everyone has gotten the idea that I'm dangerous to the bad guys, so if I don't die in the first couple of nights, they're going to assume I am one. Would kinda suck to be important with that reputation.

More and more the people who keep tallies of spreadsheets, votes, retractions, etc are living longer and longer because this stuff is also helpful in finding the good guy specials. Just....don't look at what happened to MrBlarney in the Vampires phalla. That wasn't pretty for him.

Seriously, I can't get into a game until probably a while after my vacation, but I'm really looking forward to playing again, now that I have a slightly different perspective on the various people.

The ODaM ones are getting to be very crazy, yet fun and amusing games. They are a lot of fun to watch though. I'm hoping you have nothing but good perspectives on me. I'd hate to think that an evil Nerissa would stoop to smoking people that post too much (Me, squashua etc) or the D&D regs. Although, I would take it as a compliment if people felt the need to destroy me on day 1. I can't wait to host my game, it's pure strategy, and the voting mechanism still exists somehow even though everyone can essentially be a vigilante heh.

Hey Nerissa.
If I threated to send Nerissa Jr. lots of sugary treats, would you tell us who the last witches and changelings are? You know you would fear the young one if she was bouncing of the walls, right? Deal?

Actually, my mom tried sending her candy for Valentine's day... I suspect her feelings were hurt that she never got it, because we try to limit how much junk she gets. She got some candy for Easter this year, but mostly fruit snacks. And quite honestly, hopped up on sugar can't be all that much more energetic than she already is.

Aww man. I thought I had a good way to get answers out of you too. Would begging, groveling or not-completely-empty promises help?
Hindsight is 20/20. I ate so much candy as a kid that I'm not much of a fan of chocolate anymore. I keep chocolates on my desk for the folks in my department at work, but I'm not tempted anymore to eat it. Working at Dairy Queen for a year in high school and eating as much ice cream as I wanted might've helped a bit too.

Well the goal (and it seems to be working) is that if she develops a taste for things like fruit & vegies and healthy snacks now, it'll be that much easier to keep her eating healthy as she grows up. She also is only recently getting things like juice and kool-aid, and almost never soda.
As a result, she actually drinks water rather than turning up her nose at it like so many kids these days. She also loves her fruit & vegies, so it's easier to get her to not want cookies and junk food.

I'd rather you didn't, actually, or at least stick to this thread. I'd equate any off-site communications with PMs, which you wouldn't be able to see once dead.

So, Nerissa.
Have we been able to provide you with ample entertainment in the game thread? I can only hope the folks in the dead thread are making it lively as well.

oh, I'm well and truly entertained. However, some of the most entertaining bits will have to wait for specific comment.

I was just looking for a simple answer. I'm not smart enough, or devious enough, to try and get information from you pertaining to the game. I'm just hoping you are glad you took the time to set it up is all.

Oh, I am, although if I thought everyone was miserable, I wouldn't be enjoying it nearly as much. However, I've been biting my tongue all week trying not to say things I shouldn't, especially with James and Marx in the D&D IRC channel every day. Fortunately, my husband is reading along, and I've even given him my password for here if he wants to look, so I can spout off to him about all of the things I'm thinking about who is doing what, and he'll actually know what I'm talking about. It's harder for him to keep everyone straight, though, because he doesn't know any of the people involved, or their history in Phalla games. He's even thinking about signing up to PA so he can run a game. I suspect I'll point him at ODaM if he does.

You should have him join in a game, they are a lot of fun to play.
Running a game is always fun because you get to find out how people really play the game. It also means you have to bite your tongue a lot too.
That's ok, I'm confident that we will at the very least make this a close game, but I think we may have the upper hand right now, we'll see how things go. I'm kinda hoping they finally kill me so I can see what the dead thread has to say about my antics, I'm sure more than Marx are curious about what I really am. Then they can tell me I'm a moron or something. That's always the highlight of each game.
Oh, if he does sign up to try his hand at a game, let me know who he is. If he's interested, I'll offer him the agreement I offered DA and Plutonium this game so he has a chance to at least work with someone. I'm not a great person to learn from, but it's better than him having to be a normal villager by himself.

I think it'll be a closer game than you realize. However, anything more I could say about that would be dropping hints about things you shouldn't know.
His schedule is a bit wonky, so anything that runs across weeks might give him trouble. He's on days (7am to 3 or 4 pm) one week and nights (1 or 2 pm to midnight) the next, with Friday and weekend schedules slightly irregular, and when he's on nights it's a tossup whether he'll have a chance to be on-line from work. Also, when he's on days, he needs to get to bed early.
However, he's really great at strategy-type games (much better than I am), and I suspect he'd enjoy it a lot if he could manage to get into a game, so we'll see how things go.

We'll see how it turns out. I'm confident we won't be blown out of the water, that much I'm confident in. The rest, we've got a good group going. We'll just have to see how it goes. We have some very intelligent folks in the dead thread as well that died clean. I've high hopes for them.

So Nerissa, can I ask clarification on who the changelings are and get the answer I want? that would be awesome.
DA is a funny guy.
